MEET THE TEAM
Maryum L. Haston
Founder and Principal
Maryum Haston is a native of Mobile, AL. Graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineer. She has worked as a design engineer and transitioned to an IT/IS specialist over the course of 10 years. Maryum is also a licensed minister who loves to serve in her community. With a passion for finding integrative methods, her expertise will ensure creativity and innovative ideas.
Adriel D. Johnson, Jr., DBH, LPC, NCC, CCMHC
Vice President
Dr. Johnson is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee. He currently owns and operates Adriel Johnson Counseling, LLC a private practice in Decatur, Georgia serving adults. Dr. Johnson began his career working with families and children in the Birmingham, Alabama area and developed a passion for helping individuals to achieve their full potential. Dr. Johnson holds a Doctorate in Behavioral Health from Arizona State University with a specialty focus in Primary Care Behavioral Health Integration.
He also received his Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University and completed his undergraduate education in Psychology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) , Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC) and member of the American Counseling Association. In his spare time, he enjoys travel, hiking, long distance running and spending time with family and close friends.
Devin S. Pate
Secretary and Treasurer
Devin Pate is a native of Mobile, Alabama, a wife, and a mother of two. She is a lifelong and very active parishioner of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. She serves as the youth counselor and the secretary for the Parish Leadership Council and has for 8 years. Devin is an experienced professional with roots in healthcare, customer service, and leadership that has led her along a 14-year career at Pediatric Associates of Mobile and USA Health. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration. She is also a certified medical coder.
